- Hi,
-
- Having learnt my lesson last time by not including a readme,
- here's one for this one!
-
- OK
-
- This is an 832*624 (Apple 16") StartupScreen file (PICT
- resource) intended for 840AV users. It was modelled and
- rendered in Infini-D 2.5.1 (an excellent program if you can
- live without splines). Infini-D's anti-aliasing is
- particularly good.
-
- The scene has two bits of bevelled text, a couple of light
- sources and an infinite plane. The main text has a simple
- mirror surface, the "welcome to macintosh" bit has a silver
- surface. The plane is a preset called "Tokyo Sunset". One of
- the bundled environment maps can be seen reflected in the
- letters (the black & white blobbiness). That's all there is
- to it! It took about 4 hours to render and anti-alias (most
- of that will have been the a-a, since it is very slow, but
- effective) on my 840.
-
- Just to add a little more interest, there's an easter egg
- hidden in the picture...
-
- First to find it gets a render to order! (please not for
- 21"!!!)
-
- Those with Photoshop may have a slight advantage here...
-
- Happy hunting,

- PS Please distribute this freely, but it would be nice if
- you kept this document with the picture (or is it the other way
- around???)
